Description:	CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEETING – SATURDAY, JUNE 23RD A Central Committee Meeting is being held at Islander Middle School on Mercer Island on June 23rd. This special meeting is for the purpose of selecting three nominees to be sent to the King County Council for the purpose of filling the King County Prosecuting Attorney vacancy. The County Council will select one individual to serve in the Prosecutor’s office for the remainder of this year until November’s General Election determines the permanent replacement. Only PCOs are eligible to participate as delegates in this Candidate Selection Committee. Credentials will open at 8:00am and the meeting will commence at 9:00am. This meeting requires a quorum of eligible delegates and your participation is much appreciated. At the County Convention on June 2nd, we certified Dan Satterberg as the only Republican candidate for the 2007 Election Cycle. This meeting is for a different purpose and is necessary under state and county law for the completion of this process. There will be a $5 registration fee payable at the event. It is critical that we achieve a quorum for this event. If you are a precinct committee officer, please make every effort to attend. Call the KCGOP Office at 425.990.0404 for more details.
